What can I say... This game is something unusual and different from the most common ones. I do NOT recommend it to those who dont have at least a basic knowledge of DOS commands and are already used to the command line prompt. Being a faithful command line game, theres no support for multitasking, so you cant save your progress in case you open the in-game browser and you have to start typing the commands from scratch each time, which can be bothering for some. One last mention for the riddles: in some cases theres no immediate way of figuring out what to do (i.e. the name of the table to be used for the Query command, and the name of the dude Wanda got an e-mail from, which are not mentioned anywhere), while in some other cases you have to go by trial and error (i.e. the modified username for the Sales Rep section, as well as Wandas password). However the author(s) have provided us with an extensive hints and help section, although Id prefer to be able to perform the tasks by myself whether possible. Anyway, I still consider this game rather unique and different, and probably even more serious and challenging than a similar title named "The Hacker". For purists only.

This game is Fucking awesome!

Very Addicting game - I couldnt put it down. Great storyline and twists, I never knew what was coming next. Im getting the next four now!

*SPOILERS* I though it was great. A very authentic experience with a cool system. The system seemed real, and the hacking commands are as close to the real thing as some can get. It seemed real. The story was good, but started heading down hill. Loved it, then they made it, Aliens. They had what could have been a great hacking story with what could have been great twist. But a cheap alien backstory took the front seat. It ruined it for me. It seemed like it could have been a realistic hacking experience, now Im hesitant on getting the others.

Good game idea, but really I feel like it could have been done better. Theres no real way to explain it but I feel like another designer could have made this game so much better. Also I found it very hard to pick back up where I left off after a while. I personally want my money back but other people do like it.

Id have given 4 stars were not for the aliens part of the story. Its a good puzzle game. Difficulty of levels are moderate, the console and command feel real, love the first half of the play, I almost started to feel like Im really hacking sth, until the aliens shows up. It seems like a joke to me, I mean, any hollywood no brainer like corrupt CIA and stuff is better than aliens…Apparently the play writer wasnt paid well so s/he gave up halfway.

Fun game...gets tricky towards the end. Love it!

I really enjoyed this game. It brought me back to my hacker days.

I wont spoil anything but I can just say that the story for this turned really cheesy really quickly. After a certain point in the game, I just rolled my eyes and sighed. Dont get me wrong, its a decent puzzle game. The story though? What the... Just... Why?..

Fun mysterious hacking game

This is the best game I have ever played! I should give it an over 9000 out of 5 rate, sadly, I cant.

I enjoyed the puzzles and simple hacking experience. I agree with the others that the story goes on a bad direction once it hits the alien phase of the game.

I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes "cloak & dagger" types games.

I had to look up every password besides "baseball". Despite this, I continued playing, hoping it would take a turn. It did, but it was too ridiculous to be remotely fun. I mean, an alien race? Really? On top of this, the degrading comments towards women are absolutely disgusting. Im honestly surprised that I took the time to even try to enjoy this game.

It was a cool game to play with. I like that each level is straightforward. If you get stuck you can get hints without revealing the entire step by step process. I found that at times it was a little repetitive: go into person As email, find out about person B, go into person Bs email and find out about person C... But otherwise I feel the game tries to add variety to each step. Would recommend for a few hours of entertainment.

I got this when it was free. I loved it to death! But after winning in less than 3 days, Im a stayathome mom of 5 and DO NOT have much free time (maybe 2 hrs a day), Im thankful it was free. When I wanted to look at another by the same developers I was shocked others cost so much! This is barely worth the usual app price of 99 cents. These guys must be making thousands; it hardly takes any time (no graphics, text based, simple 1 dimensional storyline). The hard part is guessing others passwords, if thats the challenge in being a hacker Im SO glad Im not! The ONLY reason I gave this game 3 stars is that it boosted my ego by making me feel awesome that I could figure it out with NO prior computer training or special skills. Thanks for the fun, but I wont be sending you my money.
